Sleep.
I feel like I am becoming more and more detached from the familiarity of
good sleep. I work overnight during the weekends. So on those days I am required to put off sleeping until I am done with work, at either six or eight in the morning. And on Sundays I only allow myself up to three hours of sleep before I go to church. Then I finish my sleep in the afternoon, when I have come back from church. So Sundays are probably my worst day for sleep, but I enjoy going to church (it is one of the highlights of my week, when I get to spend time with people), so I would rather not cut that out.
I guess I get good sleep on my days off. I usually go back to a normal sleeping schedule, with the rest of the world. But during those weekend days, when my sleep begins at the finish of many other people's, I can feel in my body the destruction. Sleeping during the daytime is just not the same as going to bed when the sun is down. I am glad I have not kept track of all the many hours that have been lost so far...i'm afraid of what the numbers might be.
All this to say...I'm not really sure what I'm trying to say. Just that I'm slowly losing lifespan, I guess. And that I desperately look forward to the future of my life, when my job doesn't require daysleep.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. And you know as well as I do that God has bigger plans...even if it's as simple as working SBU Security during the day. Peace easy, my honkey.
I am sad you are possibly losing lifespan. I'm glad that you're still sticking with church friend. I'm glad that we've returned to the blogging world and can hopefully maintain some of that which we have temporarily lost. Miss you fella. peace.
wow, the renovations on your blog look good. :) Yeah, sharing can be tough. I just figure it's better for me to get things out than to continue to keep them in.
I haven't had a creative outlet here, and so I think this is coming at a nice time.
sleep is good man.
Get food poisoning...that'll force you to sleep for almost days on end.
Do it!
yeah, IHOP in Springfield gives food poisoning out for free. Believe me. It always lies within the cheese sticks.
