I have a confession to make. I am sitting at Panera and have been eavesdropping in on a conversation two girls beside me were having. I wasn't trying to at first, but then, sadly my curious side had to get in on all the gossip that is going on around me...about people that I have never met. This is information that I can do nothing with. It serves me no purpose whatsoever (unless I decided to use it right now and start in on their conversation with them).
But apparently whatever Justin told this girl not to tell anyone is some pretty juicy stuff, based on the way the other girl was begging to be told.
It's sad, that we/I are/am like this. As much as I say I despise this culture, which tells us that we need to be up on all the latest trends and know about all the latest celebrity news, I am no better.
P.S. The guy who works here is cracking me up. Any time a couple of attractive girls
come in and sit down, he makes sure to pass by every few minutes to see that they're "doing alright," but nobody else. I wonder if I ever do things like that...

So yeah, I totally agree. I hate the portrayal that much of media makes in America, but yet I tune into shows that are complete trash and meaningless like, "A shot at love with Tila Tequila II" or any other ridiculous show on MTV, VH1, or Bravo.
I too think that is funny about the guy working at Panera. Us humans are pretty fun. It's very animalistic really. Who will arise and be the alpha male? How many pheromones must we emit to win the doe's/does' attention.
God save us.
Snap! I thought you were going to tell us what Justin said to that girl!
xoxoxoxo
I would've if she told...she wanted to, but she just couldn't. I was disappointed too.
I can totally empathize. I find myself eavesdropping and in awe of the shallowness of it all, and then have the epiphany that I am the one that is eavesdropping.
I'm glad God keeps us humble.
I'll also be glad when I'm whole again.
so what were they talking about?
